Den Internasjonale Dansens Dag er 29. april. Dansere verden over feirer med forestillinger, dansing i gater, undervisning, workshops og fokuset er å spre danseglede! I Oslo så feirer man med Dansens Dager nærmest langhelg og vi i Sound bidrar med Dansens dag show, Danses Dag Ceili og Dansing i ByBildet .

The International dance day is 29th of April, and is celebrated by dancers all around the world. In Oslo we celebrate Dansens Dager a long weekend festival with workshops, performances, pop-up dancing and more. Sound – Irish Dance Factory and Company contributes to the celebrations with the Saturday Dance Day show, Ceili and as part of Dancing i Bybildet – dancing around the city. This year Dansens Dager is 25-29 of April.

Sound of Irish Moments

Sound – Irish Dance Company og elever fra Sound – Irish Dance Factory presenterer i samarbeid med An Iorua Irish Culture Center, årets International dance day show: Sound of Irish Moments 26.april.
I danseforestillingen Sound of Irish Moments tar unge og gamle dansere fra danseskolen Sound – Irish dance factory, samt dansere fra Sound – Irish Dance Company, deg med inn i sin irsk danseverden. Vi byr på danseglede, humor, eleganse og ikke minst rytmer! Med oss har vi også den irske musikeren Brendan Monaghan på fløyte og pipes. I en oppsetning med utgangspunkt i våre irske danseøyeblikk gjennom ett år, vil store og små få se alt det irsk dans har å by på, intet mindre! Forestillingen passer for alle aldre.

Sound of Inspirations – a dance recital
Together with An Iorua Irish Culture Centre, Sound – Irish Dance Company and students from Sound – Irish Dance Factory, presents this year’s International dance day show: Sound of Irish Inspirations Saturday 26th of April.
During this year’s International dance day performance, young and old dancers from the dance school Sound – Irish Dance Factory and dancers from the Sound – Irish Dance Company, will take you with them into their Irish dance world. It will be a show filled with elegance, humour, joy and rhythms! The Irish musician Brendan Monaghan is with us on flute and pipes. Based on a collection of our Irish moments throughout the year, we will treat you to all that Irish dance can be, no less! Suitable for all ages.

Social Ceili – vi danser irske gruppedanser til live musikk! Trinn og danser undervises på stedet, og en ceili-caller suflerer dansen underveis. Danseerfaringer ikke nødvendig. Ha på gode sko.

Social Ceili – we dance Irish group dances, both ceilis and set dance. Steps and movments are taught and called by the ceili caller. Dance experience not required. Wear comfertable shoes.
Ticket includs tea and coffee. Bar accessible at the venue.
Dans i bybildet!
Sammen med store og små dansere innen for alle mulige danseformer og sjangre er vi med på Dans i bybildet Tirsdag 29.april kl 1645. Vi danse på Anne Cath Vestlys plass, rett foran Deichman Bjørvika. Dette er for dansere på alle nivåer! På Dansens Dager sine sider vil man også kunne se hele programmet for hele helgen, når det er satt.

Together with dancers from all genres, we will partake in “Dans i bybildet“, which is dancing in the City streets etc. This happens the 29th of April at 1645.
